Think: talk it through with AI that knows your business
Short answer
Think is the conversation in Aventide's Chat workstation. Ask in plain words and Aventide answers from your own records: the facts and goals in your Business Hub, your offers, your clients and their notes, your Workspace documents, and your invoices or calendar when the question needs them. When there's a real choice, it sets out the options and the trade-off of each. It searches the web only when a question needs outside facts. It can also make the document, draft the invoice or book the call. Anything Aventide drafts for a client waits for your approval; automations you switch on run on their own. Think isn't for anyone who wants AI to send client work unseen.
How Think works
What does Think already know about your business?
Everything saved in the business you're in. At the start of each conversation, Aventide reads your Business Hub: the facts you've confirmed (what you sell, who it's for, your prices and your voice), your goals and to-dos, your offers, your client list with the notes you pinned, and a list of your Workspace documents. Name a client and it reads that client's notes first, and their room when the question is about the work. Name a saved document and it opens and reads it. It reads only the business you're in, never another one you run, and anything you lock in the Vault stays out. A coach described the hand-built version in April 2026, with an AI tool called Margaret: "I write notes after every session, process them through Margaret, and build a rolling context document for each client." In Aventide, those notes live on the client's record.
How does Think answer a question?
From your records first, in plain words. Ask "Should I raise the Brand Sprint price?" and Aventide starts with what's saved: the offer, its price and what's come in from clients. It says what it found and what's missing, then asks the one question that matters most, not five. Where there's a real choice, it sets out two or three options with the honest trade-off of each and leaves the decision to you; pick one or answer in your own words. It marks an assumption as an assumption, and it never presents an estimate as your data: a projection is called a projection. If your Business Hub doesn't hold the answer, it says so and asks instead of guessing. It pushes back with a reason, too: tell it everything is a priority and it asks you to rank them.
When does Think search the web?
Only when your question needs facts from outside your business, such as a competitor's prices or recent news, and not for something your Business Hub already holds. It answers right there in the chat with a short, sourced reply, even when the question shares a name with a Do recipe: ask "How do I stack up against other studios?" and you get the comparison in the conversation, starting with the one gap worth acting on first. When you want a deeper report to keep, it offers Market Research by name, which runs in Do and saves to your Workspace.
Which parts of your business can you talk through?
All four areas Aventide sorts a business into: business, offers, marketing and money, the same four your goals and Do's recipes use. A new conversation starts with the business view: what matters most right now, the one constraint holding it back, and the next decision. Click Need help pricing? Refine in chat in an offer's window and Think opens on the Offers Canvas instead, with pricing coaching: who the offer is for, what's included and a price that fits the scope. Money and marketing questions are answered in the same conversation from your own records, so "Who owes me money?" reads your invoices and "How did last month's LinkedIn posts do?" reads their likes, comments and reposts. There's no wrong place to ask: every tool works from any conversation.
What can Think do besides talk?
The work itself, inside Aventide. Ask for a proposal, a one-pager, a process diagram or a file to download and it makes it; a client-ready document starts with an outline for you to check before it's written. Ask it to draft an invoice, add a to-do, book a call or schedule a post, and it does, with a card for your OK before anything sends, books or publishes. A business fact changes only when you give Aventide the exact value or approve its suggestion. One thing it won't do is pick a contract type for you: that's a legal question, and it says so.
What does Aventide remember, and can you change it?
Yes, and you can read all of it on the Memory tab of your Business Hub. Aventide remembers how you work without asking: how you like to communicate, how you make decisions, how long you like replies, what's been on your mind lately, and a client's preferences or background. Each item shows where it came from, such as "Learned from your conversations" or the meeting it came from, and you can forget it in one click. What's true about your business is different: when Aventide learns a business fact, a client's commitment or a price, it suggests it and saves it only after you approve. Anything it isn't sure about is asked, not guessed. Each night it reads back over the last 45 days of your conversations, suggests at most three business-fact changes per business, and doesn't raise a fact you dismissed again for 30 days.
How to use Think
Open Chat and choose Think
Open Chat in the sidebar and click Think at the top; the header reads "Talk it through with Aventide and plan your next move". Do sits beside it, and each keeps your place when you switch. Your past conversations are under History, and New chat starts a fresh one. Each business you run has its own conversations, so pick the business from the menu first if the question is about another one.
Ask for one outcome
Type the way you'd brief a colleague, or click the microphone and talk. Name what matters: the client, the format, the tone or the deadline. "Draft a short, warm follow-up to Riverbend Cafe about the brand refresh" gets a better first draft than "write an email". To work from a file on your computer, attach it with the paperclip.
Check what it used, then choose
Read which facts and records the answer rests on. If a saved fact is out of date, tell it what changed. When it offers options, pick one or answer in your own words, and keep going until the plan fits. Nothing is final until you say so.
Approve it, keep it, or hand it to Do
When Aventide is about to send, book or publish something, a card shows exactly what will happen; approve it or deny it. Say "Remember this" to pin a detail to your private memory, and review what Aventide suggests saving under Sidekick approvals. For a finished document without the back-and-forth, switch to Do.
How do Think and Do work together?
Think is for working it out, and Do is for making the finished thing. Start in Think while the brief is still fuzzy: talk through the goal, who it's for and what matters, then make the document right there or switch to Do with a clear brief. When a question needs more than one reply can hold, Think suggests a Do recipe by name, such as Market Research. Both read the same Business Hub and spend the same credits, and what Do saves to your Workspace, Think can open and discuss with you later. In the app they sit side by side in Chat.
Take it with you
Think lives in the app on your computer. Sidekick is the helper that travels with you: it sends you updates, asks you a question when something needs your decision, and delivers your Daily Brief each morning, in Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack. In the app, the same helper sits in the Sidekick panel. Each person connects their own. Ask "Who owes me money?" from your phone and the answer comes from the same records Think uses; tap a draft's Review link, approve it, and Aventide does the rest.
What Think costs
Think is on both plans: Starter is $39 a month and Pro is $99 a month, each with unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. Doing things yourself never uses credits. Only the AI's work does. A document Aventide makes from your Business Hub, a design or a process diagram costs 150 credits, the same as a Do document, and asking for a change to a finished design costs 25. A file you ask for in the chat costs nothing beyond the message. Starter includes 40,000 credits a month and Pro 120,000. At 0 credits the AI pauses and the rest of Aventide keeps working.
Questions about Think
Is there an AI that remembers my business so I don't have to explain it every time?
Yes. In Aventide your business facts, offers, clients and documents are saved in the Business Hub, so Think starts every conversation from them and you only mention what changed. It's per business: switch to another business you run and Think works from that one's records and conversations. To keep a detail for next time, say "Remember this"; it stays pinned to your private memory until you edit or forget it.
Can Think read my files and documents?
Yes. Ask about a Workspace document by name and Aventide finds and reads it; for a very long one, it reads the first part. To use a file from your computer, attach a PDF, Word, Markdown, text or CSV file, or an image. Attaching a file doesn't add it to your Workspace, and a scanned PDF with no text can't be read, so send a photo of the page instead.
Can my teammates see my Think conversations?
No. Your conversations in Think and what Aventide learns about how you work are private to you, even in a business you share. Business facts and client notes belong to the business, so everyone on your team works from the same ones. Your own email and calendar stay yours as well: a teammate's conversation can't read them.
Does Aventide train AI on my data?
No. Aventide doesn't train AI models on your data or your clients' data, and under our agreement our AI provider doesn't either. Think sends the provider only what a question needs. Anything you lock in the Vault is kept out of Think, Sidekick, Do and the Daily Brief; locking is an access setting, not extra encryption.
Will Think tell me which contract I need?
No. Choosing the right contract for your situation is a legal question, worth a quick chat with an attorney, and Think says so every time. It will explain what each of your templates covers and, once you've chosen one, draft the contract for you to review and countersign before it goes to your client.
Can I use Think on my phone?
Not in a phone's browser: the Aventide app is made for a computer, and a phone sees a "Continue on your computer" card instead. On your phone, message Sidekick in Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack. It answers from the same records in shorter replies, and that conversation is kept apart from your Think history.
