Short answer

Aventide gives each client one private portal in your branding: the logo, colors and fonts from your Brand Kit. It holds the documents and files you choose to share with that client. They accept proposals there, open contracts to sign on a branded signing page, and pay the invoices you’ve sent. Your client signs in with a link sent to their email, so there is no password and no account to create. If you run more than one business, each business’s portals wear that business’s brand, and you manage all of them under one login. Every plan includes unlimited businesses.

What your clients find in their portal

Clients see only what you switch on

A client's portal shows only what you've shared, under Documents, Billing and Agreements, never your notes about them. A document can sit in the client's area without showing; the Show in portal switch decides, and you can turn downloads off or set a date it stops showing.

Proposals, contracts and invoices in one place

A client accepts or declines a proposal in the portal, typing their name to accept. Aventide then asks whether to draft the agreement from the proposal's price, and nothing is drafted until you approve. Contracts you've sent open on your branded signing page, already countersigned by you. Invoices show with a Pay button, and paid ones stay there to open.

Your brand, and a different one for each business

The portal takes your logo, colors and fonts from your Brand Kit, with a small Powered by Aventide line and legal links at the foot of the page. Pick one of six layouts and write a welcome line for everyone or for one client. Each business you run has its own Brand Kit, so its clients only ever see that business's brand.

A clear place to start, and a way to book you

Spotlight pins one item to the top of a client's portal, such as the proposal to read first or an invoice to pay. Turn on booking for that client and a Book a time button sits in the portal's header. One owner passed on what a client said about a portal in another tool, in May 2026: "I don't see anywhere to actually make an appointment."

How to create a client portal in Aventide

Finish your Brand Kit

Open Marketing, then the Brand Kit tab. Add your logo, primary and secondary colors, and heading and body fonts, and check your business name. The top of the Brand Kit says Ready to share when that's done. Until then, uploaded files can go in a portal but Design documents can't. Brand voice is recommended, not required.

Add documents and files

Open Clients, click the client, then Portal controls. On the Documents card, click Add, choose Proposals or Documents & files, then drop in a file or pick one from your workspace. A file you upload shows straight away; switch on Show in portal for a workspace document. Or ask Sidekick for the proposal and Aventide writes it; it waits hidden in their area until you switch it on.

Choose what else shows

Under Billing & contracts, choose whether invoices and contracts show. On the Booking card, tick the sessions this client can book. Spotlight pins one item to the top, and Customize sets the layout and welcome line. Click Preview on the Client portal card to see the portal exactly as your client will.

Send access

On the Access card, click Send access beside your client's email, then Send the link. They get an email from your business name with a sign-in link. Add anyone else at the client, such as a finance contact, the same way. Later, anyone on the list can open the portal link and type their email to get a fresh link.

What the client portal costs

The client portal is on both plans, like every feature: Starter is $39 a month and Pro is $99 a month, each with unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. Doing things yourself never uses credits. Only the AI’s work does, so sharing files, sending access and running portals cost no credits, and a proposal Aventide writes does. Files you upload count toward your storage: 100 GB per business on Starter and 500 GB on Pro. The 14-day free trial needs no card and includes up to 3 businesses and 1 GB of storage.

Questions about client portals

What is a client portal?

A client portal is a private page where a client finds what you've shared with them, so nothing is lost in email. In Aventide each client gets one, in your brand: documents and files, proposals to accept, contracts to sign, invoices to pay and, if you turn it on, a Book a time button.

Do my clients need an account for Aventide's client portal?

No. Your client opens the portal link, types their email and gets a sign-in link, or you send one from the Access card. There's no password to make or remember. Each sign-in link works once, and after signing in their browser stays trusted for 90 days. A link only goes to an address on that client's access list.

Is Aventide's client portal secure?

Only people on a client's access list can get a sign-in link, and each link works once. Portal pages ask search engines not to list them, and each download is a fresh link that soon expires. Turning a portal off signs everyone out and ends its link. Aventide isn't HIPAA compliant, so don't use it for health records.

Can clients upload files to Aventide's client portal?

Not yet. Today files go one way: you share them, and your client views and downloads them. In the portal your client can accept or decline a proposal, sign a contract, pay an invoice and book a time with you. If your clients need to send you files through a portal, Aventide isn't the right fit yet.

Is Aventide's client portal branded as my business?

Yes. The portal shows your logo, colors and fonts from your Brand Kit. Aventide shows up in a small "Powered by Aventide" line and legal links at the foot of the page, the app.aventide.ai web address and the sign-in email, sent from your business name "via Aventide". Portals can't use your own domain today.

Can I have a different brand for each business in Aventide?

Yes. Each business you add has its own Brand Kit, clients and portals, so a client sees only the brand of the business they hired. Both plans include unlimited businesses under one login. HoneyBook offers separate brands on Premium only, $109 a month billed yearly; Dubsado charges $10 a month per extra brand, billed monthly (as of October 18, 2026).
