COMPARE
Aventide vs HoneyBook
HoneyBook suits one business that wants everything in one place. Aventide is built for people running more than one business, with an AI assistant that drafts the work and asks before anything goes to a client. Here is how the two compare on price, payments and switching.

SHORT ANSWER
Stay with HoneyBook if
You run one business and HoneyBook works for you.
You want the longer free trial: 30 days, no card.
You want AI included in the plan price: HoneyBook has AI on every plan.
Pick Aventide if
You run more than one business. Aventide includes unlimited businesses on Starter ($39 a month) and Pro ($99 a month); HoneyBook allows multiple companies on Premium only ($129 a month, or $109 a month billed yearly).
You want client payments to go to your own Stripe or QuickBooks account. Aventide takes 0%; you pay only that provider's standard fees.
You want an assistant that drafts proposals, follow-ups and documents and waits for your approval before anything reaches a client.
Both do proposals, contracts with e-signature, invoices, booking and client portals. The real differences are how many businesses you run, who processes your payments and what the AI does.
We make Aventide, so weigh our take accordingly. We tested HoneyBook with demo businesses; we haven't run a business on it. HoneyBook's prices and fees come from its own pricing and payments pages, checked on 3 October 2026, with links.

A tick means the job is covered on the plan priced above. A circled dash means it is partly covered, on a higher plan or with a workaround. A cross means it is not available. Where a cell has words instead of a mark, the words say what you get. Partial marks are explained in the note under each feature.
THE OTHER SIDE
When to stay with HoneyBook
HoneyBook is a good product. In our testing it kept tidy client records, its contract editor is pleasant to use, and its pipeline view makes it easy to see where each lead stands. It has a 30-day free trial, AI on every plan, and a ChatGPT app.
If you run one business, it fits how you work and the price is fine for you, there is no reason to move.
METHOD
How we checked
HoneyBook's prices, plan limits and payment fees come from its pricing page, payments page and help center, checked on 3 October 2026. Where HoneyBook's own pages disagree, as they do on Premium team size, we say so. Aventide's prices come from our pricing page and what we describe is checked against the product. We recheck this page every month.

NEXT STEP
Switching from HoneyBook
The Switch Kit moves your HoneyBook data over after you connect your HoneyBook account. It's self-serve: you see a preview of what will come over, nothing is saved until you confirm, and if you run it again it updates what it brought over instead of copying it twice.
What comes over:
People: contacts, and clients with the pipeline stage each one is at. Several contacts from one household or company stay together under one client.
Work: projects under the right client, tasks as to-dos, and notes as client notes.
Past messages: emails and texts with clients, kept as read-only history on the client.
Money and contract history: for each imported project, invoices with what was billed, paid and still due, and contracts with who signed and when. Read-only and marked as HoneyBook, so nothing is sent or chased from Aventide.
What doesn't come over: questionnaires (being built), templates and workflows, file attachments, the invoice and contract documents themselves, and open payments.
Before you cancel HoneyBook:
Connect HoneyBook in Aventide, check the preview and confirm the import.
Connect your Stripe or QuickBooks account and your calendar, so your next invoice and booking run in Aventide.
Collect or close open invoices in HoneyBook, and download any signed contracts you want to keep.
