Short answer
Marketing is the area of Aventide for your posts, your brand and your website. The app sums it up as "Your calendar, channels, and presence", and it has five tabs. Calendar is where you write, schedule and publish posts (social media scheduling has the whole workflow). Channels connects the business's LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and YouTube accounts. Brand Kit holds your logo, colors, fonts, the words that describe the business and the look of your documents. Library keeps the photos and videos you reuse. SEO checks your website and shows your own Google numbers (how the SEO tab works). Every business you run has its own of each, and you switch between them from one menu.
What's in Marketing
Where do I write and schedule social posts?
On the Calendar tab. Write a post once, pick the accounts it goes to, and change the words for any one network; a live preview shows each version in that network's own layout and length limit. Schedule it and it goes out at its time, whether or not you are signed in, or publish it straight away. The calendar has Month, Week and List views, and Needs attention gathers every post that failed or missed its time. When you would rather not start from a blank box, type one line and click Draft with AI. The steps, each network's rules and what happens when a post fails are on the social media scheduling page.
Which accounts can a business post to?
Six networks: LinkedIn, as your own profile or a company Page; Facebook Pages; Instagram, through the Facebook Page it is linked to; Threads; TikTok; and YouTube. You connect each one on the Channels tab, which shows whether each connection is healthy and warns you 10 days before a LinkedIn or Threads login runs out. Accounts belong to the business rather than to whoever connected them, so everyone on your team posts from the same ones, up to 10 per network. Disconnect one and Aventide first tells you how many scheduled or draft posts use it. Each network has its own page under Integrations.
What does the Brand Kit hold?
Three views. Brand assets holds your logos (light and dark, plus square icons), colors, fonts, corner style and brand images. Foundations holds the words: who you serve, what you sell, your tagline, tone, voice, values and story, plus keywords and words to avoid. Style sets how your documents look, from spacing and headings to how much color shows, the cover and the price table; start from one of six looks, then move a Calmer to Bolder dial or turn on things to avoid, such as no gradients or no emoji. The top of the kit says Ready to share once it has a business name, a logo, a primary and a secondary color, and a heading and a body font. Until then, documents Aventide designs, such as proposals, can't be shared or shown in a client portal. A voice and a Style are recommended, never required.
Where does the Brand Kit show up?
On the pages Aventide shows your clients: the client portal, the booking page, the page where clients sign contracts, and the documents and proposals Aventide designs. Aventide's AI reads it too. Draft with AI writes from your Foundations, including who you serve, what you sell, your voice, your keywords and your words to avoid, and your Style shapes how documents are written: a calm Style gets calm, plain sentences. Each business you run keeps its own Brand Kit, so a client only ever sees the brand they hired. A change you save shows on the portal and booking page the next time they load, while a document you've already sent keeps the look it was sent with until you update it.
Can Aventide read my website's look?
Yes, at two points. When you sign up and give your website, onboarding reads it and shows what it found (your logos, colors, fonts and the words that describe you) on its own screen, where you keep or skip each one; nothing reaches the Brand Kit without your keep. Later, Read my website on the Style view reads the site again and drafts a Style from it, shown beside a calmer and a bolder version, and nothing changes until you click Keep this style. A read uses 50 credits, and nothing is charged when your site can't be read, when nothing useful turns up, when it matches the Style you saved or when only the site's code could be read. It never changes your logo, colors or fonts, and it never picks a photo for you.
Where do photos and videos live?
In the Library, which everyone on the business's team shares. Upload photos (PNG, JPG or WebP up to 10 MB, a GIF up to 4 MB) and videos (MP4 or MOV up to 500 MB), or bring a video in from a Riverside link. Search by name, show only photos or videos, preview, rename, download or delete; a file on a scheduled post can't be deleted until you take it off the post, and videos stay until you delete them. Add your best photos to the Brand Kit's Images, up to 48 per business, and a document's cover can use them. Aventide only ever uses your own photos there: never stock, never AI-made, never one it picked. Files count toward your storage, 100 GB per business on Starter and 500 GB on Pro.
How does Aventide help people find the website?
The SEO tab checks how your website is built for search and shows how Google sees it. A check grades your homepage out of 100 across five areas, Found by Google, Search appearance, Ready for AI answers, Speed & mobile and Business details, and explains each problem in plain words, for 30 credits. Connect Google Search Console and Analytics, read-only, and the same tab shows the searches you already appear for, your clicks and visits for the last 28 days, and whether Google has your homepage. It gives no visibility score and no keyword volumes, because it would have to estimate them. What each check looks at, and why the score is capped the way it is, is on the SEO page.
Where does Aventide's AI help?
Where there is writing to do. Draft with AI turns one line into a post for each network, Improve rewrites one version, and Read my website drafts a Style. In Think you can ask Aventide in plain words to draft a post, schedule one, say what your last site check found or list what your Brand Kit still lacks. Weekly SEO insights, a scheduled document in Do, reads your site check and your Google numbers and saves a short report every Monday if you turn it on. Your Daily Brief, which Sidekick sends, counts any post that failed or missed its time. Aventide's AI never schedules a post by itself: one you ask for in Think is scheduled only after you confirm its card.
How is each business kept separate?
Each business you add gets its own Marketing: its own calendar and social accounts, Brand Kit, Library and SEO tab, with its own website and its own Google Search Console and Analytics connection. Switch businesses from one menu and every tab reloads for the one you picked, so a post scheduled in one business only goes to that business's accounts. A few things stay personal: each teammate connects their own Gmail and Google Calendar, and nobody else reads them. Social accounts, the Library and the Search Console connection belong to the business, so the team works from one set. Starter and Pro both include unlimited businesses and unlimited team members.
How to set up Marketing for a business
Check your Brand Kit
Open Marketing, then the Brand Kit tab. If you gave your website when you signed up, what you kept from it is already here. Add whatever the top still lists under Needs, such as a secondary color or a body font, until it says Ready to share.
Connect the accounts you post from
On the Channels tab, click Connect account, pick a network and sign in. For Facebook and Instagram, sign in with the Facebook account that manages the business's Page. Repeat for every account this business posts from.
Fill your Library
On the Library tab, click Upload media and add the photos and videos you use most, or import a video from a Riverside link. Then, in the Brand Kit, add your best photos under Images so your documents can use them on their covers.
Check your website
On the SEO tab, type your website's address, click Check my site and confirm the 30 credits. Then click Connect Google, choose the account that owns your Search Console, and pick your site to see your own numbers.
What Marketing costs
Marketing is on both plans, like every feature: Starter is $39 a month and Pro is $99 a month, each with unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. Doing things yourself never uses credits: writing, scheduling and publishing your own posts, editing your Brand Kit and using your Library are free. Draft with AI, Improve and asking Aventide in Think use AI credits. Read my website uses 50 credits when it reads your site's look, a check on the SEO tab uses 30, and each Weekly SEO insights report uses 150. Starter includes 40,000 credits a month and Pro 120,000.
Questions about marketing in Aventide
Does Aventide show how my posts are doing?
For Facebook and Instagram, yes: open a post that has gone out and each channel's status shows its likes and comments, read again at most once a day. LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok and YouTube counts aren't read. Aventide keeps only the numbers, never the comment text or who wrote it.
Does anything in Marketing change without me?
Anything Aventide drafts for a client waits for your approval; automations you switch on run on their own. In Marketing, what runs on its own is a post you scheduled, at its time, and Weekly SEO insights if you turn it on. A style read from your website stays a draft until you keep it, and the SEO tab only reads your site and your Google data; it never changes either.
What happens to scheduled posts if I run out of credits?
They still go out. At 0 credits the AI pauses, and the rest of the app keeps working: you can still write, schedule and publish your own posts. If your plan or trial ends, scheduled posts are paused, never deleted; anything more than an hour late when you come back is marked Missed rather than posted late.
Can my Brand Kit go on my Stripe invoices?
Not by itself. Stripe sends your invoices and payment pages with the branding saved in your Stripe account, so you add the same logo and colors there. If you connected your own Stripe account, open Money, click Stripe under Connections, then Invoice branding, and your Stripe Dashboard opens on its branding page. If Aventide set your Stripe account up, open Settings, then Branding, in your Stripe Dashboard.
Can I send email newsletters or run ads from Aventide?
No. Marketing has no newsletter tool and no ad manager, and it doesn't post to X, Pinterest or Bluesky or connect your Google Business Profile yet. Keep your newsletter tool and ads accounts for those. Aventide is the place for the posts, the brand and the website check that sit beside your client work.
